About Caron

It all started with a request for an embellished antler scarf pin.

After retiring in 2016 from the University of Calgary, Caron finally had the time to explore and restart many of her well loved, but hibernating interests. The success of the pin opened the door to experimentation.  A hidden talent surfaced, along with a passion for creating unique and interesting antler pieces.  Caron’s inspiration comes from within and the antlers themselves.  The shape, size, color of the antler, and her vision determine what transforms them.  All antlers are locally and ethically sourced and she endeavors to use each one in it’s entirety. This practice is what produces the multitude of shapes and sizes you see in her work.

Each piece is created with a hand selected and polished antler as the centerpiece. The unique shape and beauty of the natural material is then complimented with carefully selected crystals, beads, findings and chains, that Caron finds in her travels throughout Canada.  

Caron’s offerings include pendants, earrings, scarf pins, bracelets, bookmarks, tie pins…. to name a few. Each piece is unique, stylish and timeless.
